With the support of Packwise, the Häffner Group is positioning itself as a digital pioneer by developing new service models. In this way, Häffner will offer its customers additional digital added value in the future. 

Under the name Smart Chemicals, these services will not only open the door to digital transformation for companies, but also automate standard processes to counteract common everyday concerns in the chemical industry. These include high deposit expenses, non-transparent supply chains, expensive warehouse space and no IT resources to expand automation processes. 

Currently, Häffner offers three service models powered by Packwise: 

• • „Track & Return“: automated control of empties management and container monitoring in relation to sensor data such as location, fill quantity and temperature.
  • „Chem-Abo“: Automation of replenishment control within the framework of so-called "vendor-managed inventory" concepts.
  • „Chemical-Leasing“: The model will be available in the course of the year and will also enable billing according to consumption ("pay-per-use"). Customers thus gain decisive competitive advantages through increased liquidity for products with a high value content
