VDI / Verein Deutscher Ingenieure leads Packwise under „Good Practice Example

The Association of German Engineers (Verein Deutscher Ingenieure e.V.) and the VDI Center for Resource Efficiency published an article about Packwise in their September 2018 column „Good Practice Example“.

The title is: „Through digitalization to efficient recycling management“. It describes how today used and emptied industrial packaging is still organized in a complicated, time-consuming and resource-intensive manner. „Some IBC containers, when they are processed, are transported right across Germany or on to the nearest reprocessing facility. By appropriate cleaning and reprocessing their life span can be extended however significantly and the production of new packing can be reduced with efficient organization up to 50%.
