On 1 July 2019 Packwise was awarded the Saxon Environmental Prize 2019 in the category „Environmentally Friendly Products and Services“. Together with the Saxon State Ministry for Environment and Agriculture (SMUL) and the Minister of State Thomas Schmidt, we want to further promote our idea of intelligent packaging cycles for industrial packaging to protect the environment and natural resources.
For this purpose we use our innovative Industry of Things (IoT) solution Packwise Smart Cap, which enables smart container tracking and management of industrial liquid goods. We are pleased about the recognition.

Der Sächsische Umweltpreis ist damit der am höchsten dotierte Preis auf dem Gebiet des Umweltschutzes im Freistaat Sachsen. Erstmals hat das SMUL auch Nachwuchs-Sonderpreise für drei hervorragende Abschlussarbeiten sächsischer Diplom- und Masterstudiengänge auf dem Gebiet des Umweltschutzes und der Nachhaltigkeit vergeben.
