"Fit for future - Ecologically and economically successful transformation of the chemical industry" - this was the motto of this year's Handelsblatt Annual Conference "Chemistry 2022". The event is considered the most important meeting place for the chemical industry in the DACH region.
After the opening of the event, which was digitally transmitted, the day started with interesting keynotes on the topic of "Ways to Climate Neutrality", in which, among other things, approaches to sustainability in chemical distribution were presented.
The panel discussions that followed emphasized the great innovative capacity of start-ups and called on industry, universities and politics to strengthen and promote cooperation. They also provided exciting ideas for later discussions and networking.
This was followed by a highlight of the conference: the pitches for the prize for the best newcomer.
Between the discussions and keynote speeches, there was also the opportunity for exchange and networking at the joint evening event.
