Each year, Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) selects companies to participate in an organized business trip to the TechCrunch Disrupt 2018 in San Francisco, California. It is the leading conference on technology-driven disruptive developments, where companies present themselves to the public and international investors. This year’s TechCrunch Disrupt takes place from September 5-7.
Dipl.-Volksw. and Managing Director of Packwise, Gesche Weger, explains: „At the beginning of the year we presented our application to a jury of representatives from the Ministry of Economics, High-Tech Gründerfonds and the German Accelerator in Berlin. By participating in the TechCrunch Disrupt, we would like to present our latest IoT development „Smart Cap“ to investors and the press. The intelligent cap transfers data via cloud for localization and level measurement of the Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) into the customer’s Smart Supply Chain. In the future, Packwise will take its intelligent packaging organization to a new level with „Smart Cap“. The aim is to find international partners to scale our business model and to gather new contacts and impulses in the high-tech industry“.
