"Hidden champions & Pioneers" - hardly known to the public and yet leading players in their industry. In Saxony, too, there are companies that hardly play a role in the public perception, but are convincing in their economic sectors and thus have an immense share in the economic upswing as well as in Saxon innovations.
It was precisely these companies to which Martin Dulig, Minister of Economics and Labor, devoted his attention during this year's economic tour. The goal: to show which success factors make them leaders in their segment.
Over the course of three days, he visited the companies together with a delegation of press representatives, gaining an overview of their market situation and the reasons for their economic success. Also on the agenda: Packwise. Here, Mr. Dulig was offered a colorful program - with a look into the prototype workshop and product samples from the very beginning, a product presentation and an immersion into the customer's perspective. In the process, he was able to get hands-on and digitize a container himself.
Packwise was able to use its station to help demonstrate how innovative, open to industry and technology Saxony's economy is and to draw the public's attention to such industry-specific pioneers.
