Packwise and smart.CONSERVE: Innovating the Food Industry
We are excited to present the outcome of our collaborative research project, smart.CONSERVE, which focuses on developing the Packwise solution for the food industry. This initiative brings together industry leaders and research institutions to enhance digitalization, supply chain efficiency and sustainability in food production and logistics.
A Collaborative Effort
The smart.CONSERVE project was carried out in collaboration with Zentis, PROTECH (Institute at the University of Siegen), WZL RWTH Aachen University and Packwise, with the support of the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture. By combining expertise from different fields, we have worked towards creating smart packaging solutions tailored to the unique demands of the food industry.
Advancing Digitalization in Food Logistics
Through sensor-based tracking and real-time monitoring, the Packwise Smart Cap ensures greater transparency and control over food storage and transportation. This technology enables businesses to monitor fill levels, temperature, movement, and location, improving efficiency, safety and sustainability across the entire supply chain.
