Packwise closes financing round in the millions
With this multi-million investment, Packwise GmbH is preparing the Europe-wide market launch of Packwise Smart Cap at the beginning of 2020. Packwise is thus offering a practicable industrial..
Simplicity is at the forefront of Packwise’s Packwise Smart Cap solution: retrofitting Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) with the IIoT solution should be just as simple as the communication between the Smart Cap’s sensors and the associated, specially developed software platform.
For this communication, Packwise relies on 1NCE, a provider of cellular IoT connectivity. Here, mobile communication is always provided via the best available wireless technology via 2G, and preferably NB-IoT or LTE-M for years of battery life and low maintenance costs.
A worldwide unit price without additional roaming costs or fees for installation or setup allow for easy calculation of the operating costs of the entire use case. Integrating connectivity is thus almost as easy as retrofitting the IBC with the Smart Cap Tracker.
