Chemie-Cluster Bayern puts Packwise on the Hot Seat
Lars von Schweppenburg from the Packwise team sat on the Hot Seat of Chemie-Cluster Bayern Three questions to a person from our environment.
In the current issue of CHEManager, the specialist magazine for managers in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, Pieter Steenbeek, Managing Director at Servophil, gives an insight into how he experienced the pilot project with Packwise, what benefits were generated by using the Packwise Smart Cap and what further potential and process optimisations he sees for his company as a result.
State-of-the-art monitoring and new types of sensor technology enable a completely new level of knowledge with regard to Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC) and the associated logistics: keeping a constant eye on the containers helps to reduce the container fleet, plan delivery routes and personnel deployment more effectively and thus save money.
The pilot phase with Servophil was also a benefit for the Dresden start-up: the service- and solution-oriented approach at Servophil showed Packwise what companies can use the plug-and-play device for and how the Packwise Smart Cap works in practice.
