In its issue 15-16/2018, the trade journal of the chemical industry CHEManager takes up the topic of reusing IBCs and drums in intelligent packaging cycles. The focus is on Packwise’s independent trading platform, which networks the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries with partners for recycling and logistics, thus creating a transparent market for all market participants.
A goal of the contribution is it to eliminate the information deficit and missing problem consciousness with purchase and delivery of IBC and barrels. The advantages of automated, intelligent recycling management in terms of reduction of administrative effort, efficiency, value retention of emptied transport packaging and resource conservation are shown.
