Anyone who has ever ordered groceries online knows how important it is that certain products are delivered refrigerated. The adherence to certain parameters, such as temperature, plays an even greater role when shipping sensitive materials within complex supply chains and large companies. This is also the case at Henkel Adhesives.
Temperature fluctuations during shipping can ruin a product – it then has to be returned, which not only involves costs for Henkel; the customer is also dissatisfied.
To solve this problem, Henkel launched a proof of concept (PoC) with Packwise GmbH. „Packwise enables us to monitor the quality of our products in real time, act without delay, and continuously improve with each delivery. A great addition on our digital transformation journey,“ says Constantin Ehret, Sales Manager Germany, Henkel Adhesive Technologies.
