With the founder initiative WECONOMY the knowledge factory – enterprise for Germany registered association in co-operation with UnternehmerTUM and the „Handelsblatt“ promotes innovative business ideas for more than ten years and supports start-ups with challenges of their everyday life.
The support extends from the foundation phase to market entry and the further development of the company.
This year’s 15th anniversary of the founders‘ competition was used as an impulse to expand the goal of turning good founders into successful entrepreneurs by adding a Female Focus. This was the first time that technology-oriented start-ups with at least one woman in the founding team were sought.
Packwise seized this opportunity and applied for a place in the finals together with 118 other start-ups. With success! On September 16th, Gesche Weger, Managing Director of Packwise, was able to pitch to a diverse and renowned jury of top managers in Berlin and ask themselves critical questions.
The speed mentoring won provides Packwise with access to a strong network of the German economy. We are looking forward to receiving feedback on our business model and the personal discussions to further advance our business idea.
