"Shaping Transformation" - this is the motto of the East German Business Forum, which will be held in Bad Saarow until June 14, 2022. As part of the event, the winners of the VORSPRUNG 2022 business award, which also includes Packwise, were presented.

The technology company from Dresden offers an innovative Industrial IoT solution that enables customers in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries to gain transparency along the supply chain. Through this solution, consisting of plug-and-play sensor Packwise Smart Cap and the associated application Packwise Flow, unprecedented insights into relevant data around the supply chain are made possible. Since 2017, the founding trio and their team of around 20 have been relentlessly honing this technology to transform their customers' supply chains into a smart, digital, collaborative network. Today, Packwise is already working with over 40 companies in the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries worldwide. The company is thus considered an outstanding example of the innovative strength in eastern Germany.

"Ladies and gentlemen, eastern Germany has now become one of the most attractive economic regions in Europe in many respects, and word of this has now spread internationally. [...] There is a growing start-up scene in the large cities in the east in particular, partly because the federal government provides targeted support for model projects. In recent years, many fantastic ideas have been put into practice, as can be seen from the VORSPRUNG winners. [...] Minister of State Schneider has already awarded the VORSPRUNG a few weeks ago in the Chancellor's Office. Nevertheless, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the winners. It is possible to be praised twice," said German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in his opening speech on Sunday evening.

Furthermore, on Monday, June 13, the panel "Think Big! Promoting cross-state cooperation as a strength of eastern Germany", in which Minister of Economics Martin Dulig participated: "The greatest challenge of the transformation is its various facets. Our task is to think industrial, ecological and digital transformation processes - and not least the change in the world of work - at the same time. For this, active exchange at the OWF with economists, scientists and other politicians and experts is important. We need to find innovative and future-proof solutions to the questions of our time. And it is even more important to work out these solutions together with people, because only with trust can we shape change."
