With a turnover of 2.7 billion euros and 5,600 employees, the food industry is the third largest industry in Saxony after mechanical engineering and microelectronics. Since 2013, the Dresden Chamber of Industry and Commerce has been supporting the companies in the Saxony Food Industry Network and organizing regular working meetings.
On 12 February at 14:00 hrs the network will meet for the first time in 2019 in the premises of Packwise GmbH on Bayrische Strasse in Dresden to exchange ideas.
Economic and ecological aspects of organising transport packaging Intermediate Bulk Container IBCs via the Packwise Cloud Platform are on the agenda. It will explain how this solution can create competitive advantages for the local industry.
